Intermediate Copper Foil; 2 of 3 Sessions
October 29 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Is there a space in your house that really needs a stained glass window? In this class, learn how to build a structurally strong panel using design, internal reinforcements, and when to use external reinforcement. We also learn how to build a beveled panel that will last as long as the venerable panels from the turn of the last century. And finally, learn how to size a stained glass panel to fit a window and how to successfully install this window in humid/dry/hot/cold Missouri!
Graduates of Professional Methods Stained Glass or Skills, Methods, and Knowledge of Stained Glass Craftsmen will be ready to take this class after they have completed at least one panel on their own. This class is all lecture, discussion, with homework thrown in for memory retention. Open studio time is also a part of this class so you can build a panel using the new techniques you are learning under your teachers expert and experienced guidance. This class will give you the confidence to tackle any stained glass window art!
